Studio M Purple Medallion

For today, I've got Studio M Purple Medallion.

Purple Medallion is a bold and saturated red-based purple jelly base, packed with medium-sized silver and holographic hex glitter. The color in these pictures is not perfectly accurate...in real life, the purple is redder and brighter.

Sunlight, no flash.

Natural light, no flash.

Sunlight, no flash.

Blurred for sparklies.

Sunlight, no flash.

Purple Medallion is a really fun and cute color. It's nice and bright, and the sparkles are lots of fun, because as long as there's even a hint of light, you can get some holo goodness out of them.
I also found Purple Medallion's formula satisfactory. To be so full of chunky glitter, it went on pretty smoothly, and didn't gunk up at the neck of the bottle. I was also surprised at how smoothly it dried. I used three coats of color and one layer of Poshe for the pictures, and it felt and looked good to me.
But with all that said, I don't think I'm going to be keeping this polish. It should be right up my alley, being purple and super sparkly, but I just don't feel like I really need it, you know?

It's not really my style, but it looks like a fun color to have.

I don't blame you.
I was thinking that lots of people would put it in that class of glitters that looks like it belongs a tween and not on an adult.
You're right though, it is pretty fun. n_n
This is one of my favorite Studio M's...so pretty! You had only one coat of TC?? Wow, I needed 2 :)

Yeahh I saw your swatches of it! You got the color so accurate, I was so jealous LOL.
And yep, I only had one coat of Poshe. I do lay the topcoat on thick, so maybe that's why I only needed one.
Ahh, I think you should keep it! It is purple and sparkly after all. And it has a good formula...I was really surprised by that! But I know how you feel, sometimes I get overwhelmed by my collection and just start cutting stuff out left and right. :(

Aahahaha nooo don't tell me that.
I think I would keep it if I didn't already have Nina Ultra Pro Purple-Xing. They aren't dupes at all, but they are in the same family. And when I hold them up side by side, Purple-Xing wins hands down.
So Purple Medallion has to go go go.
It looks like your formula is a little better than mine was (super gloppy and dried very gritty even with multiple applications of TC). This is such a pretty, blingtastic polish.

Ooh, that's gross-o. :(
It's so weird how polish formulas can be different across batches, because I don't feel like mine wasn't like that at all.
Did you try adding thinner to it?
Oooh I love the look of this polish!! xx

Yay, I'm glad that you like it!
Gorgeous! xD If you by any chance decide to sell it, I'd love to try it.

Ooh, I definitely plan on selling everything that gets purged.
Hopefully, by early June, I can launch a blog sale page.
And hopefully a giveaway too.
Ahhh I wish I had known that you wanted it! I could have sent it over.
But anyway, I hope that you really like yours when it gets there. I think you will. n_n
Ooh, sparkly goodness! It's gorgeous.
