OPI Wing It!

      For today, I've got Wing It! (ahh I hate unnecessary punctuation) from OPI's Summer Flutter Collection. 

Wing It! is a sheer reddish-pinky-coralish base packed with flat, color-shifting pink and blue shimmer pieces.

    I found Wing It! to be really funny. The base color just kind of hangs out in this really ambiguous area, and the shimmer is the same. It's kind of iridescent, kind of blue, kind of pink, kind of violet, kind of duochrome, kind of metallic...but it doesn't fit firmly into any of those groups. Wing It! is like...the epitome of a noncommittal polish and even though I don't like noncommittal things (and people), I think I'm going to keep it. 
   I still have to think about it though, because I didn't like Wing It!'s formula at all. It went on smoothly enough, but was rather thin and hard to control. It also took five coats to eliminate all VNL in person, which is of course no bueno. So I guess we'll have to see on this one.

Five coats! It must go, I say. That is way to many coats. I know when I have a polish that requires that much work, I never wear it because I'm too lazy. Also, I hate all unnecessary exclamation points in OPI names (and their all unnecessary). It is irritating when I'm writing a post and have to run to check the bottle to see if the name of the polish has an exclamation point. Grrrr.

I was thinking that too, but it would be fun to layer with, so I think I'm gonna keep it anyway.
And yess the punctuation...so annoying! I'm glad to see that someone else doesn't like it too..sometimes, I feel like such a grumpy pants because I always complain about it. LOL.

And ebay wouldn't be a bad place to look....it's not HTF, so the prices there are still quite good.

I tend to ignore punctuation in polish names--I figure Google will probably still find my post if I leave most of that nonsense out, and if it doesn't, oh well, at least I didn't have to put exclamation points in the middle of my sentences just because Suzi was excited the day they named the polish.

LMAO @ Suzi being excited!! She's like too excited though...that lady needs to chill.
And I would like to leave out the punctuation, but because of my obsession with details, leaving it out would irritate me worse than it does to put it in. Every time I thought about or looked back on this post, I would see the missing punctuation and it would just drive me out of my head. -_____-
