Milani Hi-Tech

Hi guys! So as some of you know, I've been trying to clean out my stash to make room for more children for the sake of my sanity, and I'm happy to announce that I'm finally ready to have my blog sale! I made a little tab up there for that, so feel free to check it out!
On the nail polish front, today, I have Milani Hi-Tech from their 3D Holographic Collection.

Hi-Tech is an electric lime green polish with a strong holographic effect. I know the pictures all look more celery green, and I reallyyy do not know why or how that happened, but it's brighter and more yellow than it looks here.

Okay, so since I have bombarded you with a million pictures, I'll keep the writing portion short. Hi-Tech is amazingly beautiful, and is a really good example of why you can't count drugstore polish out. The color is so bright and lovely, and the holo is uber strong....my camera dulled it, but in person, it's stunning. If you love holo greens, you gotta pick this one up.
However, Hi-Tech's formula gave me a tiny bit of trouble. It was a little gluey feeling, and initially, I had trouble with bald spots. But after three coats, everything seemed to be okay. Next time I wear this, I'll have to try it over some kind of Aqua Base. And I used Seche Clear Base as a topcoat. It didn't dull the holo at all, so huzzah.

And that's all from me today!! Thanks for reading, and have a beautiful Saturday!

Thanks, girl!
I thought it looked pretty fab on you too! ^_^
He's Going in Circles is a great color. I'm glad that you were able to save some money!
I don't see the tab for your blog sale... am I missing it?

Love the Milani, though yeah, it looks very celery. I'm trying to imagine it without the gold look.

You're not missing it...Blogger and I are just a hot mess and can't get along. :(
But it's there now, if you're still interested!

Ahh I know...I tried to adjust the pictures, but the holo came out all messed up, so I was like forget it.
If you see it in the store though, you'll know what I'm talking about.
But incidentally, I'm glad that it's not celery-colored. I much prefer the lime green. ^_^
love it!! I've been seriously considering picking up some of milani's holos as well as their chunky glitters.

Omg, you have to get some! I would recommend waiting for a Milani BOGO, but once it's on, you have to snatch them up! It really is a fabulous collection.
Hey there! I went to check out your blog sale, and the tab at the top of the page wasnt there! Just letting you know in case you forgot to publish it or something :)

Yeahh I noticed when I logged on this afternoon...I timed it to publish today, but of course it didn't work.
I put it up now though!
Sorry about that!!
In addition to crushing on your blog name and thoroughly enjoying your posts, I've now been introduced to a nail polish in the colors of the school I teach at! 0_~ Awesome! I couldn't find this at our local drugstores, though, so I guess I'll just be forced to escape the house and drive to the neighboring city :)

Aw thanks!!
But sorry that you can't find it nearby! I noticed that they don't really carry it in Walgreens anymore (they replaced it with the one coat glitters), and I don't think I've ever seen them in Rite Aid, but I always see them in CVS.
Good luck hunting!!

It is a stunning polish and your pictures of it are great! I love the Milanis, as you well know, and am very happy to have them all. They are great!

Thanks, girl!
And I completely agree. :D
I used 2 coats of this over Sally Hansen's CSM Grass Slipper and I nearly got into a fender bender from looking at my nails in the sun. Beautiful!

Ooh, I can imagine how beautiful that would be! I bet it made for a smooth application too. :D
Love this color! This whole collection always manages to surprise me, it doesn't seem like it would be very holographic but in the sun it sparkles and shines with crazy rainbows and makes me fall in love with it every time!

Yep, you totally said it all right there. :)
Your pictures are AMAZING! I had no idea it looked like that. Every time I see this baby in CVS I walk on by (Mrs. Warwick style lol). CVS lighting does absolutely NO justice to this beauty. I hope it's not too late to grab it up *curses self*!

Thank you!
And LMAO @ Mrs. Warwick style! I know though, CVS lighting makes it look lame as hell. Makes all of them look lame. But in sunlight, it's like bam.
I hope you aren't too late either, although if you are, I would recommend trying beautyjoint.com.
They have them in stock for I think $3.75 each, which is a good price! ^_^
